On February 27, 1965, the three chapter organizers, Ladies Ella Bennett, Bobbie Atkins and Ora L. Piper hosted a meeting and inducted Ladies Drucie Chase, Lillian Francis, Edith Jones, Bernadette Lewis and Ruth Mundine. Thus the birth of the TLOD Chapter Charter #1002 (the second chapter) namely - the Houston Chapter.
Shapers of Change
The Houston Chapter has more than a hundred members and is proud to be the largest TLOD Chapter. Ongoing programs and projects are important to the fulfillment of TLOD’s mission. As “shapers of change,” members of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. have through each administration continued their efforts toward “Serving Youth and Adults.”
